After more than 30 mobile phone mast site visits, my observation is that these masts are always broadcasting way beyond limits set by hundreds of scientists around the World that have proven toxicity at even low levels. Yet the UK Government continues to ignore safe levels for Humans and our environment. Over 80% of the masts were within metres of homes.

Councils are POWERLESS to stop Telecoms and other associated businesses from rolling out potentially poisonous and toxic equipment and masts… Para 116 of the National Planning Policy Framework (as amended on February 2019) states:

116.  Local planning authorities must determine applications on planning grounds only. They should not seek to prevent competition between different operators, question the need for an electronic communications system, or set health safeguards different from the International Commission guidelines for public exposure.

Around 2015 planning was changed. Equipment on masts over 15 metres high, and other limited, special circumstances, need full planning permission. Small additional changes do not need permission, e.g. anything under 15 metres is self-regulated. Several companies can share a mast or site. Lower height antennas, including those mounted on streetlights do not need full planning permission.

Around the same time, Garden shed planning Laws oddly enough remained the same, ‘the building is to be placed less than 2 metres from the boundary of the property with a maximum overall height of no more than 2.5m from existing ground level.’

0.5 to 1.0 mW m2 – Headaches, concentration difficulties, restlessness, tremor, and sleep disruption associated with chronic exposure to mobile phone base stations.

5 to 10 mW m2 – At this level it decreases human sperm motility, increases sperm DNA fragmentation, and affects brain activity and cognitive functions.

Conrado Avendaño, et.al., American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Fertility and Sterility, volume 97, Number 1, January 2012, pp 39-45

Approaching 30 mW/m2 of RF changes in cardiac function, including altered heart rate, arrhythmia, and/or tachycardia were observed.

Childhood (and other) cancer clusters have been found after only one year of base stations being in operation, such as the widely publicized cluster in Valladolid, Spain (2000/2001) where 10 children in the vicinity of antennae developed different cancers within one year. Ambient power flux readings ranged from 0.66V/m to 3.96V/m inside the school attended by three of the children concerned, to 8.4 V/m the roof of the school. The Leukemia rate in this particular neighbourhood had risen from the Spanish average of 4 in 100000 to 1 in 100. Although anecdotal, this is a stark warning of what we may face if Vodaphone’s proposal is accepted.

This always on Hutchinson Jupiter Monopole is around 10 metres from that block of flats. The long term effects are like having a mobile phone taped to your head and genitals all the time you’re in your home.

Monopole masts under 15 metres are sprouting up along roads and outside your homes. Unscrupulous Telecoms companies like EE, O2, Vodafone and Three are using Hutchinson-made monopoles to get around planning with seemingly no consideration for the people who live near them that will be experiencing the toxic cumulative effects.

Do not think you are powerless or cannot do anything about these masts…

You’re not alone.

Residents on a Melton housing estate are celebrating after telecoms company Vodafone decided to shelve plans to install a mobile phone mast following a protest campaign.

Castelnau estate residents won today’s battle, the new mast was taken away from the site. The protest started early this morning and finished at around 1.35pm when workers took the mast away.

Visit smombiegate.org for more information and search for Smombie Gate in your favourite social networks. We will help you fight to stop 4G and 5G masts being installed in your area today.
