Peru does have a magnetic field ELF- EMF limit lower than ICNIRP, however the limit is far higher than levels associated with cancer in young children.
However Peru does not have protective policy in regards to cell tower or cell phone radiation. Instead the government promotes the deployment of MORE antenna and calls them “good and friendly.”
The Peru Ministry of Transports and Communications has a Multimedia campaign conducted by the MTC including TV, radio, newspaper, internet and social networks with the slogan “antenas buena onda” (friendly antennas) to promote placement of telecommunications installations in neighborhoods.
