Electromagnetic Radiation and the Reduction of Health Risks
Theme: Healthy and Sustainable Cities
The meeting will have the theme “Healthy and Sustainable Cities” and aims to provide visibility, disseminate knowledge and draw attention to the theme of Electromagnetic Pollution, ways of protecting and reducing risks to health and social vulnerability.
Electromagnetic Pollution is caused by exposure to radiation mainly from:
- Mobile devices (cell phone, tablet, notebook, etc.);
- High voltage lines and electrical installations;
- Radio Base Stations (Cellular antennas);
- Wi-Fi routers;
- Bluetooth;
- Among others.
