“Wireless Phone Use in Childhood and Adolescence and Neuroepithelial Brain Tumors: Results from the International MOBI-Kids Study,” Environment International, February 2022.

It “provides no evidence of a causal association between wireless phone use and brain tumors in young people.” However, sources of bias prevent ruling out a small increased risk.

MOBI-Kids is the first mobile phone/brain tumor case-control study to take into account ELF EMF exposures —not just RF. ELF dose was estimated with cumulative induced currents at location of tumor.

“In our opinion, the results as reported in the MOBI-Kids paper seem uninterpretable and should be dismissed,” according to a detailed analysis of the the MOBI-Kids study by Lennart Hardell and Joel Moskowitz.

Their critique, which was just published by Reviews on Environmental Health, runs 13 pages with 71 footnotes. Open access.
