Translated and adapted by the ORSAA translation team

The ORSAA team has translated the book Frequencies used in Telecommunications An Integrated Radiobiological Assessment” by  Professor Yuri G. Grigoriev (PhD, DMedSci) 1925-2021 Chief Scientific Officer, Laboratory of Radiobiology and Hygiene of Non-Ionizing Radiation, Burnasyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center of the Federal Medical Biological Agency (Russia);

ORSAA has made this book available for free download.  ORSAA translated this book with Yuri’s permission and assistance over the last 2 years and this version has a number of important updates that were sanctioned by him prior to his passing. You can make a donation to ORSAA or become a supporter by joining ORSAA as an associate member or supporter. Fill in application form. Please advise if you wish to have a hard copy, A5 or A4 version spiral bound, we can mail you a version in Australia for only $40 (includes postage). This covers printing and postage costs.

*ORSAA is the Oceania Radiofrequency Scientific Advisory Association Inc (www.orsaa.org). ORSAA is a not-for-profit group of independent researchers investigating the biological and health effects of man-made electromagnetic fields and radiation. ORSAA has collated the world’s largest online database of papers published this area (ODEB). Over two thirds of the published, peer reviewed papers show effects. ORSAA was asked by Yuri to help translate his book from Russian into English, and so the ORSAA translation team worked with Yuri on this task in the last six months prior to his passing. The team has taken the original work and adapted it for English readers, altering the structure of sections and adding explanations where necessary, but always staying true to the science and the meaning that Yuri was trying to convey. Yuri was extremely passionate about getting this message out to the world, a message that he had spent a lifetime researching. It is the hope of the ORSAA team that these pages live up to Yuri’s wishes for his book.

Message From ORSAA.

Yuri Grigoryev, was a courageous scientist and against the backdrop of “wireless at any cost” he advocated for the precautionary principle. He could see that this man-made radiation posed a plausible risk to humanity and the environment. During the translation process I could see our radiation protection philosophies were aligned. Given the non-thermal bioeffects and the uncertainty regarding long-term effects on all life on earth it can only be concluded by those who examine the science that the ICNIRP guidelines are inappropriate for 24/7 member of the public exposure. The effects on the environment are not considered when setting limits and with millimeter waves (mmWaves) being used this could have a major effect in insects like bees. The bee population are our main pollinators and their numbers have been declining over the last two decade. The effect on the environment remains unknown. Yuri advocated for a lower exposure limit and was instrumental in setting a member of the public limit in Russia at 100 times lower than the ICNIRP guidelines. He was not alone globally in his stand as shown by the International EMF Scientist Appeal to the United Nations, WHO, UNEP Environment Programme and UN member nations. More than 255 scientists from 44 nations have signed on as part of the ongoing appeal.
