CHD and the Environmental Health Trust submitted more than 11,000 pages of scientific evidence demonstrating that the FCC’s 1996 guidelines are outdated and do not account for non-thermal biological effects of wireless radiation. The U.S. Court of Appeals agreed, ruling that the FCC had not provided a reasoned explanation for why its guidelines adequately protect public health.
