Phonegate Alert brings the number of non-compliant mobile phones and connected objects to 66 regarding Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), following the late announcement by the ANFR on December 31, 2025.

The agency has ordered the withdrawal and recall of the HOTWAV Note 13 and FOSSIBOT F105 for exceeding the limb SAR limits. Flagged as early as April 2025, these models circulated illegally for 8 months, exposing users without any official information.

Cumulative non-compliant models
New SAR withdrawals (Dec. 2025)
CE compliance failures

Withdrawal of 6 smartphones sold on Cdiscount

Alongside the SAR exceedances, six other models have been withdrawn from the French market due to serious administrative and safety failures (lack of CE marking, lack of technical documentation, and failure of conformity assessment):

Models concerned: KXD Classic A10, OPPO F11 (CPH1911), VIVO Y79A, OSCAL Flat 1C, Blackview Wave 6C, HOTWAV Cyber 15.

Violation of the RED Directive and Opacity

The ANFR has still not reported these non-compliances in the European ICSMS database, violating Article 50 of the RED Directive. This withholding of information at the community level prevents effective protection of European citizens, despite our ongoing legal action against the French State.

Dr. Marc Arazi, founder of Phonegate Alert:
“The ANFR published these 8 withdrawals on the last day of the year to minimize the Phonegate scandal, while forgetting to alert at the European level. 66 models dangerous to health confirm the urgent need for a total revision of failing SAR standards. Citizens must demand transparency and immediate withdrawals!”
