About Environmental Health Trust

Founded in 2007, Environmental Health Trust, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is a think tank that promotes a healthier environment through research, education and policy. EHT conducts cutting edge research on environmental health hazards and works with communities, health, education professionals and policymakers to understand and mitigate these hazards.

The Environmental Health Trust has worked on the issue of wireless radiation for over a decade submitting thousands of pages of evidence to the FCC in the years leading up to the historic court’s decision in EHT’s lawsuit against the FCC.

EHT scientists testified in 2009 Senate hearings (CSPAN link ) and 2008 Congressional hearing (CSPAN link) on cell phone radiation- the last hearings ever held at the federal level.

EHT Co-founder Dr. Ronald Herberman, who founded the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) and helped discover natural killer cells capable of killing cancer, issued the first recommendations by a U.S. medical institution to his faculty recommending that they reduce cell phone radiation in a memo featured in the New York Times article “Researcher warns of brain cancer risk from cell phones.”

EHT President Dr. Davis has published hundreds of scientific papers on environmental health and also  authored three popular books. She was designated a National Book Award Finalist for When Smoke Ran Like Water: Tales of Environmental Deception and the Battle Against Pollution

Her book, Disconnect:The Truth About Cell Phone Radiation, What the Industry Is Doing to Hide It, and How to Protect Your Family was selected by TIME magazine as a top pick and The Secret History of the War on Cancer was a top pick by Newsweek.
