Dr Linda Birnbaum never puts her cell phone to her head, installed her Wi-Fi router as far away as possible from her bedroom and would never want to live close to a cell tower. She also approves precautionary measures and regulations reducing exposure to radiofrequency (wireless) radiation because she believes the accumulated epidemiological and toxicological data justifies it be classified as a ”probable carcinogen’’. An American toxicologist and microbiologist, Dr Birnbaum is the former director of the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (2009-2019), as well as the US National Toxicology Program.
