Bumping into the unknown of 5G and WI-FI part 2. With radiation physicist Victor Leach

As a practicing Radiation Health Physicist who worked for government agencies that set standards, I was appalled by what I discovered. I wanted to explain my discovery that there was a problem with the philosophy of setting radiation limits in this RF-EMF radiation exposure. When setting, limits for uncontrolled radiation exposure for members of the public, a precautionary approach must be adopted. This precautionary approach is completely absent from the limits set in guidelines proclaimed by the International Commission on Non-Ionising Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). ICNIRP is a German non-government agency formed in May 1992; its charter is attached. In Australia, our federal government protection agency Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA), has been selected by the ACMA as the appropriate standard. ACMA moved its health responsibility to ARPANSA. as it claims it’s not a health agency.  But neither is ARPANSA; they have no medical professionals on their staff.

The real regulator is the ACMA; they select the standard under Equipment Rules in (e) protecting the health or safety of individuals from any adverse effect likely to be attributable to radio emissions resulting from a reasonably foreseeable use (including a misuse) of radiocommunications transmitters. ACMA has selected the ARPANSA standard and uses the ICNIRP guidelines without any safety provisions for plausible long-term risk due to non-thermal bioeffects. The WHO EMF project group is just an extension of ICNIRP.

ICNIRP has violated its International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA) charter; see my attachment. Once formed, ICNIRP became a self-governing organisation without checks on their behaviour by IRPA as set out in their charter. ICNIRP got highjacked by self-interested parties. There was limited time in the podcast, to discuss this fact fully. I trusted my colleagues who set up ICNIRP to use our radiation protection philosophy developed by the International Commission on Radiation Protection (ICRP). However, to my surprise, this was not done. Our IRPA South American colleagues have noticed the same problem.
